Snow on the common
This is a view from a snowy Chorleywood common towards the cottages and Rose & Crown pub on the edge of the common.
The painting was started on the common and then finished at home a few years ago. The image was used as a Christmas card in 2025 and has just sold. Painted on a gesso primed panel the painting was made using only ultramarine, burnt sienna and white.
