All Saints church Sherburn-In-Elmet

A contre jour sunlight effect oil painting of All Saints church, Sherburn-in-Elmet, Yorkshire. The church dates from around 1120 AD and sits on a stone outcrop overlooking the Vale of York, near to the site of the battle of Towton, fought on the 29th of March 1461 during the English Wars of the Roses.
