Flambourough North Landing Yorkshire

This is an oil and oil-pastel colour study for a larger painting of Flamborough North Landing in Summer sunlight. It is painted in oils and oil pastel on gesso-primed canvas panel measuring 7 x 5 ins. Flamborough Head is a chalk headland with sheer white cliffs on the Yorkshire coast. I have always been fascinated with the reflected colour on the cliffs and in the sea at Flamborough.
